Peter Mthombeni was in 1962 in Benoni, he was the first black man to register at the School of Art & Design in the 80’s before the Government of National Unity came into power in 1994. This incredible man and artist has faced many challenges and still manages to create bright vibrant ceramics that add to any table or meal.
Peter is one of the many exhibitors you can find at the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market every Thursday and Saturday.
