La Scarpetta, meaning the little slipper, is the wonderful name Italians give to the gorgeous act of cleaning up the last bit of sauce from the bottom of your plate with a small piece of bread. La Scarpetta (Tuesday 17 May 2022; R560p.p; 17h30 for 18h00) will be a celebration of those wonderful recipes that make you want to polish your plate clean. We have selected special regional recipes from across Italy, the 15 recipes taught will include Saffron & Pork Sausage Ragu; Gnocchi al Sagrantino (4 ingredients combined into the most incredible sauce), prawn stuffed ravioli in a saffron cream and a rich budino al cioccolato
