The Cookery is all about love, everyday, whether it’s the love of good food, good people or good times. But we make an extra special fuss in February, and we will be kicking off our February schedule with a new Italian class, Con Affeto Dall’Italia (Tuesday 4 February 2025; 17h30 for 18h00; R780) With Love from Italy – will be a celebration of all the wonderful dishes that Italy has given to the world, these dishes are not just meals but cultural ambassadors, representing Italy’s regional diversity, culinary philosophy of always using amazing ingredients and the art of turning simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes. The 18 recipes taught in this class will include Summer Minestrone Soup; Beef Carpaccio; Spinach & Ricotta Chicken Rolls; Ragu Alla Bolognese with fresh rich Tagliatelle; Sliced Beef; Fresh Dumplings; Porcini Risotto and of course, we could not finish our meal without decadent but indulgently light homemade Fior de Latte gelato and crunchy, ricotta stuffed Cannoli from Sicily.
