    If you are looking for the perfect gift for someone who loves to cook, spend time with friends and learn new things then a gift voucher for The Cookery is a brilliant idea.  Designed to give the recipient access to any event, we have more than 96 planned for 2022, over a full year - we suggest getting one for yourself so that you can join in and don't miss out on any the fun. Vouchers cost R560 per person and are valid for a full year and will cover the recipient for all relevant public classes (excludes Secret Sunday Brunch).  We like to customise every voucher so we need you to send us an email info@thecookery.co.za, saying who the voucher is for, whether it is for a single or a double ticket, and of course who the voucher is from.  We will then get you your customised voucher and the necessary payment details.

  • COVID 19 HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS

    The following Covid-19 Regulations to be in place until further notice:
    These measures will remain in effect until such time as there are new or additional guidelines.
    The following precautions will be taken:
    1.  The whole team are double vaccinated and we will wear our masks for the duration of the event.
    2.  Hand sterilising stations will be available on entry and at each workstation, but as always we strongly recommend hand washing with water.
    3.  The venue will be sterilised between events and food safe anti bacterial/viral will be used to keep the kitchen safe during classes.
    4.  Public class sizes will be reduced to a maximum of 18 guests, minimum of 10 guests, events with less bookings will be cancelled and refunds will be issued.
    4.  All guests will be required to take a temperature check at the beginning of each event
    5.  There will be 5 possible work stations, guests may be required to cook with others
    6.  To accommodate the groups,  your 'bubble' a booking of 4 tickets is needed, then you will only cook with your guests
    7.  Throughout the event all guests will be required to wear masks when moving around the school
    8.  We will still offer table seating after the class with as much spacing as possible, however should guests prefer not to eat in, we will allow take aways.
     9.  Events will now commence 17h30 for 18h00 to allow time for recording of information and to allow for an earlier end time
    To accommodate the change in bookings, events will be listed on our website but bookings will need to be done directly with us, on info@thecookery.co.za
