It is loaded with vitamin C, vitamin B complex and even trace minerals. Restraint in cooking with chili is usually gets better results, but sometimes mind scorchingly hot is good. Just remember to wash your hands thoroughly after touching them, if I am working with a lot of fresh chili I will coat my hands with oil before starting to help create a barrier between the chili and my skin, then when I wash the oil off my hands, the chili oils are suspended in it and not stuck to my skin.
