The Cookery is the brainchild of restaurant owner and food writer Paul Maciel, better known as The Secret Jozi Chef.
The space, based in Craighall Park, is designed to highlight the beauty of cooking and creating food and the way enjoying food connects people.The venue can handle 16-20 students working across 5 stations. The whole school has been fitted with the latest in the gorgeous iXelium series from Whirlpool. Equipment includes, 3 x ovens, 4 x 60cm gas burners, 1 x 90cm gas burner, 3 x 400l fridges/freezers as well as the necessary smalls to teach a professional class.
